Greek Bicentennial

Digital illustrations for the celebration of the 200 years since the outbreak of the Greek Revolution of 1821 and the War of Independence.

"From specific events of greek history to its constant, tangible pulse beating through time, these pieces represent the lasting struggle of the nation towards enlightenment, peace, identity and against division, malice and itself. The ideas are formed on the axis of imperceptible everyday matters that nevertheless hold the heart of the greek spirit.

"What You Need to be Warm"

UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Neil Gaiman invited us to share drawings in order to raise funds to keep @refugees warm over winter.

“What You Need to be Warm” is an animated film that features many of the wonderful #DrawForRefugees illustrations on Neil Gaiman's original poem of the same title.

Traditional illustrations for the 2017 Inktober challenge.
The idea behind my 2017 Inktober was to create an alternative book cover for literary works I love, one for each day of October. Along the way some cinematic pieces made their appearance on my list of titles.
